There is this Enemy of The Soul…it is called EGO…
It can be so subtle and little by little remove the Truth of God from our hearts… it often can come in that which seems good…but slowly EGO would have us be “the god of our world”
God would have us give..
Ego would have us take…
God would have us be thoughtful…
Ego would have us speak freely, gossip and share every opinion that comes to our mind…
God would have us offer mercy…
Ego seeks justice …
God would have us search our hearts for Truth…
Ego demands the world recognize its thoughts as the truth …
God gives gifts…
Ego destroys a talent…
God pours out knowledge …
Ego despises wisdom and instruction..
God lifts up the humble to better things and honor …
Ego remains prideful in its deficiencies …
God bring His mercies new every morning and with it a new attitude…
Ego multiplies it’s anger of yesterday …
God brings freedom, Hope and the thought of another..
Ego, brings despair and imprisons one in self…selfishness, self-seeking, and self-pity…
God says ,in Him, by His Love one is whole…and complete..
Ego is always trying to prove and affirm itself…
God Is Love!
Ego is Love’s Adversary …
So let seek God, crave more of Him…for He is Good…and only in Him can the Soul be Satisfied…only in God can a person be fulfilled … whole … happy… living out true purpose … true identity to be Loved by God..
